This website is a purely private, non-commercial homepage. I process personal data only to the extent described below. No further processing takes place.
The website is served exclusively over HTTPS. HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) is enabled. All communication between browser and server is therefore encrypted end-to-end.
When you simply visit the website, no personal data is collected or stored. In particular, no server logs are kept. The logging function is disabled at the hosting provider.
Expressly NOT taking place:
A contact form is available at /de/kontakt, /en/contact and /da/kontakt.
Data collected: name, email address, message text. All entries are made voluntarily by the user.
Purpose: responding to the inquiry.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in communicating with the person making the inquiry).
Processing and storage: Submissions are forwarded to me by email and stored in my email inbox. No storage in a database on the server takes place. I delete the data as soon as it is no longer required to handle the inquiry, and at the latest when the correspondence indicates that the matter has been concluded, subject to any statutory retention obligations.
When the contact form is submitted, I store the sender's IP address solely as a salted SHA-256 hash together with a timestamp in a server-side file. The IP address itself is never stored in plain text.
Purpose: limiting submissions to a maximum of three per IP address within ten minutes (abuse and spam protection).
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in protecting the form against automated requests).
Retention period: the hash is overwritten or deleted after no more than ten minutes.
I set exactly one strictly necessary session cookie. It is only created when the contact form page is loaded.
Attributes: Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict.
Purpose: bot protection by verifying a minimum interval between loading the form and submitting it.
Legal basis: Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (strictly necessary to provide the service explicitly requested by the user, namely submitting the form). No consent is required for this, and no consent banner is used.
Retention period: duration of the session, at the latest until the browser is closed.
The browser stores locally (in localStorage) whether the user has chosen light or dark mode. This value remains exclusively in the user's browser and is not transmitted to the server. It contains no personal data and is not relevant under data protection law. It can be deleted at any time via the respective browser's settings.
This website contains hyperlinks to external platforms and services. By clicking such a link, users leave this site; the privacy policies of the respective provider then apply. I have no influence on their content or data processing.
